The research offer of the Laboratory includes:
- the characterization of the microstructure on the micro-, nano- and atomic scale of metallic, polymeric, ceramic and composite materials
- 4D STEM studies
- EDS microanalysis of the chemical composition
- implementation of in-situ environmental tests in liquids and in cryogenic temperatures
For materials from which preparations cannot be prepared using the ion thinning method, properly prepared samples must be provided for characterization.
